this small dining table designed by charles and ray eames was originally released in 1947 and manufactured by herman miller until its discontinuation in 1964. the folding table features a walnut veneer top and freshly polished chrome-plated steel legs. the DTM2 table is one of four variants of such table, with DTM standing for dining table on metal base. natural walnut veneer top and chrome-plated steel legs held open by metal clips. when folded, the drop steel legs tuck in the underside of the table, and were originally designed to be held in place by a strap and press stud. designed for incredible space saving, and ease of storage when not in use. its short production run makes the DTM2 table a more rare eames design — own a piece of design history at a fraction of the cost!

chips and scratches to the veneer as pictured. this particular table is missing the straps to hold the legs in tightly, however the legs still fold in as pictured.
