designed in 1963, the sling sofa is an innovative design which uses a chrome-plated tubular steel frame, thick leather, neoprene and reinforced rubber to suspend the seat and back cushions. it is one of the last pieces designed by george nelson for herman miller. this piece boasts soft, worn-in leather providing utmost comfort. elasta-seat mark on the underside of the sofa.
 
in overall great vintage condition. one small tear in the leather with a few additional spots of wear as pictured. cushion snaps have been removed, but does not defer from the overall piece.
